-1.8this week.
12 pounds total in 3 weeks.
That is insane. I am loving it, but I do realize that in reality, it doesn't really work like that for more than a week or two. I am hoping for 1.5 to 2.0 pounds a week. I want to lose about 25 more pounds, and HOPING that I can do it by the time school gets out. That gives me 4 months to lose 25 pounds! I am thinking that is pretty do-able!
Monday, I am going to start going back to the gym with one of my oldest B-F-F's!
She is having some really, really hard times right now, and I can't wait to spend some time hanging out with her, and doing something GREAT for both of us!
John bought me a Wii fit today! I am so excited. Between that and my treadmill, I really don't need to go to the gym, but it will be fun to have a friend to challenge eachother!
So, here's to another GREAT, HEALTHY week! And, a few more pounds off by body, as well!

Week 2
Weighed in this am... -3.2 for a total of 10.2!
Yippeee!
Didn't do as well as I would have liked to this week with the treadmill,
just for a simple lack of time.
Hoping to make up for it this week though.
Looking forward to another great, productive and healthy next 7 days!

Week One
drum roll, please...
7 pounds.
I have stuck with my treadmill schedule. Taking it extra slow this time. Trying hard not to hurt my knee any worse than it is already messed it. Nothing too serious, but sticking to it, none the less.
So, I have made it to the treadmill 4 days this week, counted points for 7 days, and stayed right on track!!!
Very excited about my progress!

Fitness Friday's
I went to a Weight Watchers meeting today.
I haven't been good about Weight Watchers, at all for the past year or so. Since I met me goal, for our Disneyland trip. I pretty much dropped the whole thing at that point.
I wanted to get to the 30 pound lost goal, before we left for Disneyland, and I did. And, I told myself when I set that goal, that if I could get to 30 pounds lost, I wouldnt worry about counting points, while we were gone to Disneyland, or for the rest of the month that Anouk was here. So, I was so excited when I met that goal. We went to California, and I was so excited to fit into the clothes I was fitting into, as well as how I felt when I looked in the mirror.
And then we came back.
And then Anouk left.
And then I spent the next year and a half, celebrating that 30 pound mark, until today, when I weighed in, and realized that I had finally gained back almost every bit of the weight that I worked SO hard to get rid of.
This was my first week getting back on my treadmill, and my first week of officially starting Weight Watchers, and counting points again.
I have Fridays off, which is great because there are Weight Watchers meetings, which get over just in time to pick Ashlyn up from school, so I plan to make Friday's my Fitness Fridays. The day that I use the treadmill, count points and weigh in, at the end of the week, to see how I have done, and what I need to do in the following week to keep it going.
I plan to post my progress here, every Friday, as well.
Third time's a charm, right?

Revamp
So, I guess I am starting over for the 5millionth time.
So, 30 and running in 2008... It happened. Just not to the extent that I was hoping for.
So, my original plan for this blog was to document my journey from Couch to 5K. And, that's where the part that didn't happen comes in to play.
So, here's what happened. It got hard.
I got frustrated. I got discouraged. I gave up.
It was just about this time last year that I first started this journey.
I got back on my treadmill tonight. I made a new, "safer" plan, for 2009.
Here's the deal.
I plan to-
Follow the Couch to 5K plan, but adapt it, a little bit. So, if a week is hard, or if I don't feel ready to move up to the next step, I will just stay in the current week, until it feels easier and more comfortable for me.
I plan to get on my treadmill AT LEAST 3 times every week, even if it is just to walk.
So, there you have it. Again.
I know you're probably rolling your eyes and saying "yeah, right!" I know. And, I feel the same way. But, here I go again. Better to start and do a little bit, than nothing at all.
Today I walked/ran for-
27 minutes. 1.75 miles. 201.5 calories.

Good news and Bad News
The bad news first...
As I expected, the treadmill hasn't gotten as much as I would like for it to have this week. I did spend a little bit of time on it, but not nearly enough. I keep thinking it will sound more appealing, as I get some weight off and start feeling better about it.
The good news...
I stayed on track for my daily points, and lost 3.8 pounds last week! Looking forward to Friday, to weigh in again, and HOPING for another good weigh in.
Hoping to go out to dinner with my husband on Valentines Day, wearing some skimpy, sleazy outfit, weighing 38 pounds less! :) O.K., so maybe not too skimpy, and probably not sleazy, but for sure HOT! :)
O.K. Here's to making time and finding energy for the abandoned treadmill, and another good weigh in this week!

Back In The Game
Today, my attitude is in the gutter. What I really, really want to do is take a warm shower, go to bed and cover up in my warm snuggly bed, and sleep the night away.
But I made a chioce. I started Weight Watchers again, on Friday. I have gained back all but just a few of the 30 pounds I lost last year.
Today I made a choice instead of covering up in my bed, to get on my treadmill. It was hard. It was hard to push start, and it was hard to keep going once I did. It is much harder this time around, because when I started the Couch 2 5K program before, I was almost 25 pounds lighter.
It is harder to run when you need to lose 40 pounds.
Anyway, I am recommitted to following my Weight Watchers plan. I want to lose about 38 pounds, and I hope to do this by Valentines Day.
I am also going to try to use my treadmill 3 times a week. I don't have a real definite plan for that yet, still trying to decide what I want to do. I messed up one of my knees pretty good somewhere along the line, and I am not sure that I want to put the strain on them at this point. Today, I followed day one, and I am thinking about following the program, but a bit slower than it is laid out. Mostly because I am heavier, and more out of shape and I would rather ease into it, instead of getting burned out. So... I am pretty sure that there isn't anyone that still checks in here, and that is fine with me... But I do plan to keep up with this a bit, just for myself.
We will see where this takes me. I am pretty down, that I am starting all over. But.... Here I go!
